To inspire every student to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel.
Over the last ten years, Minnesota Hillel has increasingly become the best place to be a Jewish college student. Our reach has grown from 40 students to connecting with over 500 students. With our unique tie to the Twin Cities Jewish community, we are able to see the impact Minnesota Hillel has on the community first-hand as many of our past student leaders now hold positions at various Jewish organizations.
Join us every Friday night for a Shabbat service and meal with your peers. Enjoy a home cooked meal and a relaxing environment to wind down from your busy week!
Minnesota Hillel offers a variety of leadership and educational trips during the year, including trips to Israel.
At Minnesota Hillel, leadership development is one of the six pillars contributing to the success of the organization. We empower students to be the leaders of their own Jewish journey.
The programs, events, and experiences at Minnesota Hillel are based upon six different pillars that lay the foundation for the organization. The pillars are: Shabbat & Holidays, Jewish Learning, Leadership Development, Israel, Social Action, and Social Experience. While many programs serve multiple pillars, our staff and students work to ensure each of these pillars are evenly represented throughout the school year.
Programs & initiatives are the building blocks of every Minnesota Hillel experience. From weekly Shabbat celebrations to one-off initiatives, Hillel works to bring program ideas from diverse Jewish backgrounds to life. Students are also encouraged to find religious, social, and cultural connections through Hillel’s “Create An Initiative” program. We look forward to supporting and encouraging your students as they find their niche at Hillel!
Hillel is excited to offer incredible opportunities for students to dip their toes into Jewish Life and Learning with several Hillel classes, offered exclusively for them! From Israel Education to 21+ Jewish learning, Hillel offers enough variety to engage anyone. The Leadership Development Series, Israel Education Series, and Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) round out Hillel’s extracurricular course offerings.
Your student can join their friends and Minnesota Hillel on a trip to Jewish communities around the world! Trips are immersive experiences that challenge and strengthen Jewish connections. Birthright Israel, Israel Exploration Mission, and Hillel’s Leadership Mission offer one-of-a-kind opportunities to grow as both leaders and Jewish students on campus.
